Michael Harm   (Trumpet)

Michael Harms is a trumpet player based in Chicago and Boston. In the past decade, Michael has worked with some of the country's foremost conductors such as Riccardo Muti, Allen Tinkham, and Hugh Wolff. He has studied with Matthew Lee and Michael Dobrinski and has performed in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra, Birch Creek Symphony Orchestra, and the CYMF Orchestra. Michael performs a wide variety of repertoire from Classical to Jazz to Rock and Folk music. Michael performs on the album Winged Creatures with featured soloists Anthony and Demarre McGill, which was nominated for a Grammy in 2019 for Best Classical Producer. In his work as a performer and as a teacher, Michael believes in breaking down barriers between genres as well as championing versatility and diversity within music.
